Dr. Lauren Dubuc (Vennen) is a native of River Ridge and started working at Abadie Veterinary Hospital when she was 15 years old as a veterinary technician.
She attended Dominican high school in New Orleans, received her BS in Biology at Saint Louis University, and graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Within a few weeks of graduation, she started her career as a veterinarian back at AVH and has been here ever since.
Dr. Lauren is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. She loves being a part of a family’s bond with their pet, and her goal is to provide the best care possible for her patients at AVH. She treats every patient as if it were her own fur baby.
Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her husband, Robert, and their 2 dogs, Riley and Benny going on hikes, fishing, traveling, and cheering on their favorite team, the LSU Tigers!
