Johnnie Ann Ponder - Hospital Manager

Johnnie Ann Ponder started with Benbow Veterinary Services in November of 2018 as Vice President of Public Relations and was the Hospital Manager since October of 2019.

In May 2021, she was promoted to be the Hospital Manager of Abadie Veterinary Hospital. Johnnie Ann has a special place in her heart for the Abadie Team as this was her childhood veterinary hospital. Johnnie Ann graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School and completed her Psychology degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. She has had a passion for working with animals since she was a child. Johnnie Ann transformed that passion into a career and started in the Veterinary Industry in 2014. Outside of Abadie Veterinary Hospital, she dedicates her free time to her nonprofit 501c3 Cane Haven Rescue where she works diligently to find dogs their forever homes.
